What do Martha Stewart, Ricky Gervais, Diana Keaton, Owen Wilson, Harrison Ford, and will.i.am have in common? A hint: It’s a little gold statuette. You can’t be blamed for guessing “Oscar,” but you’d be wrong. It’s another little gold statue, this one in the shape of a bunny.
Yes, just in time for Easter you can get your very own autographed Lindt Gold Bunny.
The celebrities above — among other stars of stage, screen, song, and sports — have joined with Lindt to celebrate Easter in singular fashion. They have signed gold statues (made of porcelain) in the shape of Lindt’s iconic Easter Bunny, modeled after the company’s chocolate Easter basket treat.
Easter means different things to different people, but what can unite many of us is a love of chocolate. Lindt is the name behind many Easter treats. Many a straw basket is crammed with Lindt’s brilliant aluminum-foil covered chocolate eggs and, of course, the chocolate Easter Bunny, wrapped in gold foil.
These bunnies have an interesting twist. From the auction listing:

The list of celebrities is a veritable who’s who in pop culture, and it’s interesting to see how much these attention these bunny statuettes are garnering. Lauren Graham is known for her roles on the WB’s Gilmore Girls, NBC’s Parenthood and films like Evan Almighty, and she has decorated her bunny with little flowers. Her statue is currently being bid at just over $140. Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter Jason Mraz, known for his breakthrough single, “I’m Yours,” decorated his bunny with a tiny blue hat and a heart. His statue is currently valued at $66. But television personality, businesswoman and author, Rachel Ray, who hosts a daily talk show called Rachael Ray has signed her bunny “Yummy Bunny,” which apparently caught the fancy of over 30 bidders and has a current high bid of over $500!
On the other hand, the bunny signed by Whoopi Goldberg, who won an Oscar, an Emmy, a Grammy and a Tony Award, has only 18 bids with the high bid just over $115. But we are pretty sure this bunny’s price will go much higher.
In our sports match up, quarterback Peyton Manning’s bunny is valued at $222.50 (so far), while quarterback Drew Brees’s bunny is just $83 (so far). In this case there seems to be no competition!
