The first day of summer, or summer solstice, is finally here. Time to dust off the beach chairs, buy some sunscreen, and find your beach towels and hats. If you don’t live near a beach you might be going camping, planning a vacation, or heading down to the local pool. Kids are out of school, the blockbuster movie season is about to begin, and the days feel endless. Yes, summer is many people’s favorite season, and with good reason.
Our shoppers have summer on their minds too. We found several remarkable listings that people have put on their watch lists to get you in the mood for summer.
For those with a bigger summer entertainment budget than me, there is this 1983 Morgan 45-4 Sailboat:
The seller assures prospective buyers the boat is in excellent condition, and looking at the photos of it makes us agree with this assessment, at least regarding the boat’s outward appearance. The listing describes the boat:
“The boat is fast, seaworthy and comfortable racer/cruiser with beautiful wood interior and a simple and manageable sail plan, this is an excellent all around boat. This bank-repossessed beauty is a lot cheaper than the sailboat, above, with the added advantage that you don’t need to know how to sail to maneuver it, only how to drive. This is definitely not what I remember RVs looking like, back in the day — my idea of the ultimate camper van is an old converted VW Vanagon like this one.
