Ho Hey! Collectibles from The Lumineers and more

Autographs often show up in eBay auctions, but autographed memorabilia is something else entirely.  What makes today’s remarkable listings standouts is that every item pertains to music and every item features autographs by several rock and pop stars.

If you’ve been rocking out and shouting along to “Ho Hey” for the past year – and we think you might have been since the video has over 40 million hits on YouTube – you’ll be psyched to see this GF The Lumineers Autographed REMO Drumhead:

Not only do you get this 18-inch drumhead with autographs by Jeremiah, Neyla, and Wesley, but you also receive an original doodle of an armadillo, done by one of the band members.

Rolling Stone singled out “Ho Hey” as one of the top songs of 2012.  See what all the fuss is about on the clip below.

It’s interesting to note that, while the band did not score a Grammy Award for either of its two nominations, it did see a resurgence of interest in its music immediately after the broadcast.  According to the music reporters at exclaim.ca, “Hey Ho” returned to the number one slot on the iTunes charts after the show.  In addition, the Denver folk rockers announced they will tour North America from April through July (including stops in Canada, where the debut album just went platinum) before heading over to Europe for more gigs.

As is often the case in these high-profile auctions, the proceeds from the sale benefit a worthy cause.  The Lumineers’ collectible is one of several eBay auctions with sales supporting MusiCares and GRAMMY Foundation, organizations concerned with human service issues, particularly those impacting people involved in the music community.

The seller, grammyauctions, is offering a number of items, which you can peruse here.  Another listing worth highlighting is this MC Coldplay Signed Shure Microphone:

Coldplay members Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, Will Champion, and Chris Martin are offering a piece of “Paradise” with this microphone featuring their signatures.  If you don’t win this, you could be living out their hit, “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall.”

This next collectible represents the coming together of an incredible group of solo artists and bands.  Check out this MC GRAMMY Sting Neil Young Elton John Mumford & Sons Tim McGraw Signed Guitar:

The backstory, according to the listing, is that “…this star studded guitar was signed backstage during rehearsals of the 2013 MusiCares® Person of the Year Tribute, honoring Bruce Springsteen.  This tribute dinner and concert was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on February 8, 2013.  Autographs were received by performers, presenters and other VIP celebrity guests.”
