Top Search Trends: Week ending Friday December 7, 2012
Unsurprisingly, Christmas topics were high on the list of trending search terms again last week. Christmas stockings, ornaments, the ubiquitous elf-on-a-shelf, and other decorations peppered our list. One unusual search term that caught our attention was for a santa toilet. Our Top Shared revealed a possible answer to this search query, this Christmas Happy Santa Fabric Toilet Seat Cover and Rug Bathroom Commode Set:
I guess some people take very seriously the concept of holiday decorating anywhere and everywhere. Imagine what they do with the dog house. And, of course, a quick search reveals eBay even has some inflatable Christmas-themed dog houses, too (of the Snoopy variety, naturally). Yes, if it is on your mind, it is on eBay!
There were searches for New Year’s items popping (like champagne corks) on the list as well. One search, for champagne flutes, revealed this pair of stunningly priced ($358,800) champagne flutes:

I think the retracting folding tables are an especially nice touch, as are the heated rear and front seats, and I have now officially added this to my Christmas wish list. Something to pray for, right toilet Santa?
